Junior Team, l’anima del Torneo - Junior Team, the Tournament’s soul

 

Gialle, verdi e quest’anno arancioni: le felpe colorate dello Junior Team da tre anni sono il vero cuore del Torneo Internazionale Città della Pace. Anche quest’anno infatti un centinaio di ragazzi e ragazze delle scuole superiori di Rovereto aiuteranno il Comitato Organizzatore nella gestione del Torneo. Dopo tre incontri di formazione che si sono volti negli ultimi mesi, i giovani volontari sono stati divisi in tre settori: accompagnamento, logistica e comunicazione.

I primi in questi tre giorni si occuperanno di ricevere e ad accompagnare le oltre cento squadre che arriveranno a Rovereto: il loro è un compito estremamente impegnativo, visto che dovranno guidare gli sportivi e i loro accompagnatori per i campi della Vallagarina dal momento del loro arrivo oggi fino all’ultimo fuoco d’artificio della cerimonia di chiusura allo Stadio Quercia domenica sera. Altrettanto importante il ruolo dello Junior Team Logistica, che dovrà gestire gli Info Point disposti su tutti i campi ed accogliere i molti turisti che stanno arrivando già oggi. E non è tutto, perché la riuscita di tutti gli eventi di questi tre giorni (dal Meeting dei Team Leaders questa sera al Meeting dell’Amicizia alla Campana dei Caduti) dipenderà in gran parte da questi giovani. Infine lo Junior Team Comunicazione, che gestisce i rapporti con la stampa locale, nazionale ed internazionale e si occupa di aggiornare costantemente i social network del Torneo con foto, video ed interviste.

Allo stadio Quercia quindi le felpe arancioni sono già al lavoro, pronte a farvi vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile al Torneo Internazionale Città della Pace.

Junior Team, the Tournament’s soul

Yellow, green and this year orange: the coloured sweatshirts of the Junior Team are the real heart of the International Tournament Città della Pace since three years. Also this year more than one hundred boys and girls of Rovereto’s high schools will help the Organizing Committee in the management of the Tournament. After three meetings in the last months, the young volunteers were split in three sections: entourage, logistics and communication.

In these three days the first team will have to receive and accompany 100 teams that will arrive in Rovereto: it’s a very important role, because they’ll have to guide the athletes and their families in all the pitches of the Vallagarina from today to Sunday night. Also the Junior Team Logistics is important, as it will have to organize all the Info Points that are near to all the pitches. Moreover, all the events of these three days (from the Team Leaders’ Meeting tonight to the Friendship’s Meeting at the ‘Campana della Pace’) depend on their work. Finally, the Junior Team Communication, that takes care of the relationship with the local, national and international press and updates the Tournament’s social networks with pictures, clips and interviews.

At the Quercia Stadium the orange sweatshirts are already at work, ready to make you live an unforgettable experience at the International Tournament Città della Pace.
