Mancano solo due mesi! - Only two months to go!

Eccoci qui, è il 25 gennaio, mancano due mesi al 25 marzo e questo significa che tra due mesi avrà inizio la ventinovesima edizione del Torneo Internazionale "Città della Pace". Solo 60 giorni, quindi, e Rovereto sarà invasa da 2500 giovani atleti provenienti da tutto il mondo, che daranno vita a tre giorni ricchi di amicizia, sport e ovviamente PACE!

Lo staff del #tdp2016 (ricordatevelo, è il nostro hashtag ufficiale!) sta lavorando incessantemente per finire di preparare un grandissimo evento: stiamo finendo di definire tutti i dettagli, e vi possiamo assicurare che anche quest'anno le emozioni non mancheranno.

Here we are, on the 25th of January, this means there are only two months to go until the 25th of March, the beginning of the 29th edition of the International Tournament "Città della Pace". We've to wait only for 60 days, then Rovereto will be crowded by 2500 young athletes coming from all over the world, ready for three days full of friendship, sport and obviously PEACE!

The staff of #tdp2016 (remember it, it's our official hashtag!) is working incessantly to prepare an big event: we're defining all the details, and we can guarantee that also this year there will be a lot of great emotions.

Talking of emotions, to start our countdown we want to reveal the temporary PROGRAMME of the event! Presenti! Non poteva essere altrimenti! Il Torneo Internazionale Città della Pace è presente a Düsseldorf in Germania per il giubileo di Eurosportring. Il nostro Comitato Organizzatore ha partecipato ai momenti di celebrazione, all'importante fiera dei Tornei, e agli incontri con il board di ESR. Un'ottima occasione per la promozione del Trentino, di Rovereto, dell'evento e dei nostri partner.

Intanto, il #tdp2016 si avvicina sempre di più: manca davvero poco al prossimo torneo!

Here we are, as always! The Torneo Internazionale Città della Pace was in Düsseldorf in Germany for Eurosportring's jubilee. Our Organizing Committee joined the celebration, the important tournament's exhibition and the meeting with ESR's board. A great opportunity to promote Trentino, Rovereto, our event and our partners!

Meanwhile, #tdp2016 is always nearer: there's really not much to wait until the next edition!

Incontro importante in Brasile! - Important meeting in Brazil!

Incontro importante fra il Direttivo del Torneo Internazionale Città della Pace e l'amministrazione di Bento Gonçalves in BRASILE! Dopo alcuni mesi di confronto, si è definito l'accordo che vede la città brasiliana gemellata con Rovereto e con altri quattro Comuni della Vallagarina protagonista della 29a edizione del Torneo della Pace. A breve questo pre-accordo sarà sottoposto alle Amministrazioni gemellate. Ne riparleremo presto… #tdp2016

Important meeting between Torneo Internazionale Città della Pace organizing committee and local administration of Bento Gonçalves in BRAZIL! After some months of discussions, we reached an agreement that will make the Brazilian town (sister city of Rovereto and 4 other towns in Vallagarina) a protagonist in the 29th edition of our Peace Tournament! Soon the administrations of the towns will analyse this agreement. You’ll soon have some other news! #tdp2016

A success International Tournament 2015

Rovereto’s crowded by the colourful teams that this year are more than 100. The numerous languages of the athletes of the 15 nations, the shout for joy of the fans, the several hymns together with the cheerful music are the winning mix of the International Tournament Città della Pace.

The 28.th edition of the tournament is concluded after three days of sport and amusement in Rovereto, where more than 2.500 guys from all over the world played in the name of peace, knowledge and dialogues.

After  the parade and the party in Malfatti square, that was able to involve the citizens and the whole city, the Friendship’s Meeting  on Saturday night was full of emotions, not only for the promises about the fair play and the hymns of the several nation, but also for the amusing exhibitions: the dance performance by “Asd Scarpette Gialle” and the colored and lightened arrows shot by the archers of the Kappa Kosmos Group.

In the first rugby’s match Lagaria faced EZI, winning the first place.

Chapeau, Vis Nova!- Chapeau Vis Nova

Il Vis Nova vince la ventottesima edizione del Torneo Internazionale "Città della Pace", categoria Pulcini, al loro debutto assoluto nella competizione. La squadra allenata da mister Morganti ha battuto per 3 a 1 il Mori Santo Stefano arrivati secondi nel girone finale, precedendo Val Rendena e Rovereto.

Una vittoria meritata per la squadra lombarda, ma vanno fatti molti applausi anche alla squadra trentina, che ha messo in difficoltà il Vis Nova in più di un'occasione.

"La nostra società pensa solo a farli giocare a calcio, ben vengano i buoni risultati. Sono assolutamente contento di questo risultato che premia l'impegno dei ragazzi". 

Queste le parole di mister Morganti al termine dell'ottima prestazione dei suoi ragazzi, che hanno fatto saltare il banco al loro debutto nel Torneo. E' proprio il caso di dirlo, chapeau Vis Nova!

Vis Nova wins the twentyeighth edition of the International Peace Tournament "City of the Peace", as debutant in the competition. The team, trained by coach Morganti, has won 3 to 1 against Mori Santo Stefano,  second in the final group, followed by Val Rendena e Rovereto .

 A very deserved victory for Vis Nova, but one needs to give merit also to the team from Trentino, which has put into difficulty the lombard team for many times.

"Our team's target is to let guys play football, then good results are welcome. By the way, I am absolutely delighted for this victory, which rewards the effort of the guys".

 These are the words of coach Morganti after the match. It's time to say it, chapeau Vis Nova!

Tutto pronto per le finali e lo spettacolo! - Everything is ready for tonight's finals and show!

Anche quest’edizione del Torneo Internazionale Città della Pace sta purtroppo per finire: mentre si stanno svolgendo le prime semifinali nei vari campi della Vallagarina, allo Stadio Quercia stanno iniziando i preparativi per l’atto conclusivo del torneo. Dalle 16 infatti inizieranno le finali delle varie categorie del torneo di calcio: al Quercia si sfideranno le due squadre più forti di ogni categoria ed i vincitori potranno esultare davanti al grande pubblico. Dalle 22 via alla cerimonia di chiusura: prima verranno premiate tutte le squadre vincitrici dei tornei di calcio e rugby, poi il cantante roveretano Delle canterà dal vivo l’inno del Torneo della Pace, “TDP Snap”, accompagnato dal balletto dello Junior Team. Infine, il momento più atteso: il meraviglioso spettacolo con i fuochi d’artificio, che come sempre emozionerà tutti al Quercia.

Also this edition of the International Tournament Città della Pace is almost finished: while the first semi-finals are on the way in the pitches of the Vallagarina, at the Quercia Stadium everything is almost ready for the final moment of the tournament. From 4 p.m. the finals of each category of the football tournament will start: at the Quercia every winner will have the chance to celebrate in front of a lot of people. At 10 p.m. there will be the closing ceremony: first of all the winning teams of football and rugby’s tournaments will be awarded, then the singer “Delle” will perform with “TDP Snap”, the official anthem of the tournament, and the whole Junior Team will dance with him. Finally, the most beautiful moment: the fantastic show of fireworks, that will be a great emotion for everyone, as always!

La pioggia non ferma il Meeting dell'Amicizia - The rain doesn't stop the Friendship Meeting

Nonostante la pioggia incessante e il freddo invernale, il Meeting dell’Amicizia è stato carico di emozioni.  La splendida cornice notturna della Campana dei Caduti,  con le luci della città di Rovereto sullo sfondo,  ha contribuito a rendere l’atmosfera solenne  e suggestiva. Dopo una divertente esibizione con le bandiere delle bambine dell’ “Asd Scarpette Gialle” ,  ogni nazione partecipante è stata chiamata a recitare il giuramento e poi sono stati cantati a squarciagola gli inni delle 15 nazioni arrivate a Rovereto.  Un lancio di frecce luminose colorate delle tinte della pace, scoccate dagli arcieri della Compagnia Kappa Kosmos, hanno dato il via ai 100 rintocchi della Campana Maria Dolens. Il programma di domani prevede le finali di tutte le categorie, le premiazioni e i fuochi d’artificio.

Despite of the incessant rain and the wintry cold, the Friendship Meeting was full of emotions.  The fantastic location of the Campana  dei  Caduti, with the lights of the city of Rovereto in the background, has made the event solemn and suggestive. After an entertaining exhibition with the flags of the girls of the “Asd Scarpette Gialle”, each nation was called to recite the national anthems of the 15 nations arrived in Rovereto. The launch of the bright arrows,  painted with the colours of the peace , fired by the archers of the Kappa Kosmos Company, kicked off to the 100 peals of the bell Maria Dolens. The schedule for tomorrow submits the finals of the categories, the award ceremony and the fireworks.
